Dynamic Application Bar

Aug 14, 2012 at 8:58 PM

I want to implement dynamic ApplicationBar as described here:

http://www.leghumped.com/blog/2011/04/09/windows-phone-7-dynamic-applicationbar/

Define two application bars in the resources and switch between them during runtime.

The question is how can I define several sets of triggers and behaviors in resources and attach them to application bar during runtime?

Hi anatoliin, I think this is what you want: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/4292385/adding-a-behavior-in-a-resource-dictionary

Basically, behaviors/triggers are implemented via attached property under the hook.

Hi there, I've just released a new version of AppBarUtils that supports dynamic app bar. With this release, you can define multiple app bars within a pivot/pano page, and have them switched when a user changes the pivot/pano item.
